:star2: The Role

We're hiring an Associate UI/UX Designer to join our Technology team and help design and build intuituve digital experiences across AxisKey's internal tools and future client-facing products.

The role is primarily focused on UI/UX and product design, including designing interfaces, mapping customer and investor journeys, identifying UX friction, and improving product and service experiences.

You'll also work closely with the Technology team on AI-assisted frontend development, helping translate designs and prototypes into functional interfaces using modern frontend and AI-powered develoment tools. 

The ideal candidate combines strong UI/UX skills with product thinking, curiosity about technology, and an interest in AI-assisted development. You'll move between designing experiences, mapping workflows, prototyping solutions, and helping bring those solutions to life.

 

:wrench: What You’ll Do

UI/UX & Product Design

  • Design intuitive interfaces, wireframes, prototypes, and user flows in Figma.
  • Map customer, investor, and internal user journeys to identify friction and improve product experiences.
  • Translate business and user needs into clear, practical, and scalable design solutions.
  • Maintain design components, systems, and documentation.

Frontend & AI-Assisted Development

  •  Translate UI/UX designs into functional frontend interfaces alongside the Technology team.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate frontend implementation, prototyping, and iteration.
  • Support frontend QA and ensure implemented interfaces align with design specifications.

Technology Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering and Product to validate designs and technical feasibility.
  • Communicate design decisions, interactions, edge cases, and implementation requirements. 
  • Iterate on designs based on product, user, and engineering feedback.
  • Help establish efficient design-to-development workflows and handoff processes.

 

:white_check_mark: What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

  • 1-3 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Frontend Design, or a related field.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design, user flows, interfaces, prototypes, and digital product work.
  • Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, prototyping, and developer handoff.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, including usability, information architecture, user flows, interaction design, and visual hierarchy.
  • Ability to map and analyze customer and investor journeys and identify opportunities to improve user experiences.
  • Basic understanding of frontend development concepts and how digital interfaces are built.
  • Experience using or willingness to learn AI-assisted frontend development and coding tools.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with developers and understand technical constraints.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly around UI consistency, responsive behavior, interaction states, and implementation accuracy.
  • Professional English proficiency for working with an international Technology team.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience building or modifying frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or similar technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools.
  • Experience translating Figma designs into functional frontend interfaces.
  • Experience designing SaaS, fintech, B2B, enterprise, or workflow-heavy products.
  • Experience working with customer, investor, or financial-services journeys.
  • Experience designing internal tools, dashboards, admin platforms, or complex business workflows.
  • Strong interest in AI, emerging technologies, and the future of product development.
